We are looking for ways to help Fourmars family members and friends put the first 1,000 humanoid robots to work in the Appalachian mountains by the end of 2027, and thousands more worldwide.

It starts with developing AI software plus Robot hardware Use Cases. These are our first Use Cases here in the Appalachian Mountains. Many are interrelated and there will be considerable multiplier effects if we work together. What do you have in mind where you live?

Our plan starts with finding innovative people looking for new ways (Use Cases) to profitably use robot tech as soon as possible. This requires our partnering with robot hardware manufacturers and AI software developers.

Fourmars Partnership Candidates

  • Tesla’s Optimus (also known as the Tesla Bot) is an autonomous, bipedal humanoid robot under development designed to handle repetitive, dangerous, or boring tasks. Tesla has moved into production preparation for Optimus Gen 3 at its Fremont and Texas facilities, targeting commercial scaling.
  • Agility Robotics (Digit): The leading candidate for verified commercial supply. Their dedicated RoboFab facility in Oregon is built for high-volume output (scalable up to 10,000 units/year), and Digit is purpose-built for logistics, material moving, and rugged industrial workflows.
  • Apptronik (Apollo): Designed explicitly for industrial AI, mass manufacturing, and heavy labor environments. With strong industrial backing (including automotive pilots like Mercedes-Benz), Apptronik is positioned to scale fleet sizes rapidly.
  • Figure AI (Figures 1-3): High-capability AI-first humanoid systems designed for precision manipulation and heavy industrial environments. Their scaling lines are built to ramp output significantly for enterprise pilots.
  • Boston Dynamics (Atlas+Spot): The gold standard for extreme industrial hardware reliability and dynamic physical tasks, especially suited for high-payload manipulation and unpaved terrain. Recently purchased by Hyundai, the 2026 production is sold out but many of the robots are targeted for Hyundai research facilities in the US.
  • There are currently 140+ Chinese Humanoid robots manufacturers led by Unitree Robotics (G1 / H2) & AgiBot. Chinese volume leaders currently have one fifth of the current global market offering cost-effective hardware platforms for open-architecture software integration, extreme terrain navigation, and bulk fleet readiness.

Key Technical & Logistics Vectors for the Deployment

Phased Rollout: Structuring initial deliveries around pilot production (50–100 units in 2026 and early 2027) to validate teleoperation latency and site workflows before scaling to the full 1,000+ robot fleet footprint.

Hardware Ruggedization: Mountain and field environments require high ingress protection (IP ratings against dust/moisture), wide operating temperature ranges, and dynamic balance on steep, uneven grades.

Edge Compute & Satellite Teleoperation: Establishing a decentralized edge-compute architecture (local AI inference clusters linked via low-latency satellite nodes like Starlink) ensures continuous coordination in remote hollows where cellular infrastructure is sparse.

Growing AI Autonomy: Autonomous humanoid robot technology just can’t happen fast enough. While remote teleoperation can work on Earth (nearly instantaneous messaging) and to some degree on our Moon (2.5 second send-receive message latency), Mars requires a very high level of autonomy due to the 8 to 42 minute send-receive message latency.

Heavy Machinery Integration: Equipping humanoids with multi-modal end-effectors and trained vision-action models so they can board, manipulate controls, and operate heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, skidders, and haulers) without needing to re-engineer existing machinery.

Fourmars is primarily a software company that is also in the cattle business. We have begun raising Cash Cows. Robot Racing could become one of our most successful because it will provide entry into 6 different market spaces – use cases.
