Work backwards from the long term goals, a strategy recommended by Salim Ismail.
- Assume Mars will become the economic center of our Solar System due to its more central location to our Solar System’s natural resource wealth.
- Assume Mars will become the cultural center of our Solar System due to its ability to eliminate war and maintain forever peace for the first time in human history.
- Assume robots, not humans, will prepare Mars for permanent colonization.
- Assume much of what is needed to colonize Mars will be manufactured on Earth’s Moon due to lower costs.
- Assume the permanent colonization of Mars will proceed in 25 ½ Earth month cycles driven initially by Hohmann Transfer Window dates.
- Assume stability, peace, and hope will become our Solar System’s most valuable assets, followed by hydrocarbons, water, and fuels including Helium-3.

Hohmann Transfer Windows occur approximately every 780 Earth days. A year on Mars lasts 687 Earth days.

Mars Colonization
- Assume Mars, not Earth, will become the financial aid cultural center of our Solar System.
- Assume Mars’ ascendency is its leadership role will occur no later than E2038.
- Assume Mars will achieve global, permanent peace by E2034, within 5 years of achieving Artificial Intelligence Superiority, the Singularity, on Earth and Mars. Earth may, or may not still be enduring forever war; Mars will have achieved forever peace.
- Despite its current, inhospitable living conditions for humans and other Earth species, Mars will become the most important financial and power location in our Solar System because of its proximity to our Solar System’s concentrations of natural resource wealth.
- Assume the migration of civilization, power, and wealth will begin by sending robots first to prepare the way for humans and other Earth species to follow later.
- Assume the Martian migration will begin at the end of 2026 during the next Hohmann Transfer Window, sending the first constellation of satellites which will begin the search for optimal Mars colonization and profit. Assume these satellites will also perform local AI analysis of Mars geodata eliminating the need to transmit huge volumes of raw data to Earth. Assume Fourmars will be a major subscriber of the refined local Martian geodata. Assume the Martian satellite constellation will be expanded with each Hohmann Transfer Window having been first enhanced and improved by Earth’s Moon constellation.
- Assume Humanoid robots will begin operations on Earth’s Moon in E2027.
- Assume the robot racing events designed to accelerate off Earth robot technology will begin on Earth during the next Hohmann Transfer Window, 21st November – 12th December, E2026.
Fourmars Near Term Goals
- Introduce AI literacy and humanoid robot technology in the Appalachian Mountains during E2026-2027 in:
- Agriculture
- Education
- Forestry
- Manufacturing

- Expand Fourmars Humanoid Robot operations to Earth’s Moon beginning in E2027. Earth’s Moon will become the proving ground for Fourmars development efforts on Earth prior to beginning operations on Mars and beyond.:
- Mining and refining
- Site preparation and facilities construction
- Energy generation, storage, and transmission
- Infrastructure corridor construction
- Rocket fuel production
- Space launch facilities and equipment including linear accelerators and possibly a space elevator
- Complete the 2nd Annual Earth Robot Races at the end of E2027, and the 1st Moon Robot Race on Earth’s Moon at the same time.
- Prepare shipments from both Earth and Mars for the E2029 Holman Transfer Window with materials remaining in orbit until launch window. These shipments will include the 1st Fourmars Humanoid robots, construction equipment, and nano refineries and manufacturing facilities.
- Assume Fourmars will become a principal mining, construction, fabrication, and manufacturing contractor for others colonizing Earth’s Moon beginning in E2027 and E2030 on Mars

The Appalachian Mountains are a great place to rapidly accelerate robot development in agriculture, education, forestry, and mining. With 73,000 acres and 300 miles of trails, Windrock Park near Oak Ridge and Knoxville, Tennessee is America’s largest off-road park. Originally one of the largest coal mining operations in the South, it can offer robot development growth in both forestry and mining if Windrock agrees to participate in robot racing.
Imagine your company, college or university racing robot team zipping down forest trails this fall.



Can you imagine teaming with Nissan, a major employer in Tennessee and University of Tennessee, lead by a local Cherokee who is working on his PHD in Environmental Sciences, racing to victory through the 73,000 acres at nearby Windrock Park.
